Let the good times roll!You heard right. Pensacola is one of the few places in Florida that truly celebrates Mardi Gras. This celebration is a strange mix of childrens days and floats and crazy adult behavior that is absolutely not for children! Mardi Gras is fun for all but it's best with a little experience or at least a tip or two ;)

One of the best things I can tell you about coming to Mardi Gras in Pensacola Florida is be prepared...for anything! The best tip I can give to anyone about having a blast at Mardi Gras is to bring about $300 (U.S.) worth of good beads. Buy them before hand at an outlet store to save $. The best beads are long 6' pearls (white or Mardi Gras colors), and the

long heart beads are also quite popular. Short of the white pearls though, one of the most popular beads I have found are the St. Patricks day beads.
