Miami Florida has some of the best beaches around. Every time I go, the water is amazing. There is a lot of sand, so finding a spot to lay down isn't too tough. On the weekends it gets a bit crowded but it's not too bad. Not all, but a good number of beaches in the Miami area are very relaxed and topless sunbathing is allowed so if you have little ones or otherwise would be offended be sure to check out the beaches first and make sure you aren't in for any surprises!

Miami may have some of Florida's best beaches but what about other family attractions here in Miami Florida? Are there any zoos?

Absolutely, Miami is loaded with things to do. But the I wouldn't miss the Metro Zoo or the Sea Aquarium. Both of these attractions are a must see for anyone visiting the Miami Florida area.

Miami Sea Aquarium is a zoo like park to showcase our aquatic wildlife. The Sea Aquarium has dolphins, whales, sharks, manatees, stringrays and anything else that might be found swimming off our coast. Sea Aquarium also puts on scheduled shows with the various animals so the kids will be entertained as well.

Miami Metro Zoo is not a large zoo but it is a good zoo and it has very reasonable prices. Metro Zoo has all kinds of animals from all over the world and a few found locally.
